Mar Menor ferry to be cancelled this Wednesday due to storms
The ferry is expected to be running again as normal by the weekend
Due to a forecast of heavy rain, strong winds and stormy waves this Wednesday March 5, the Mar Menor ferry between Santiago de la Ribera and La Manga del Mar Menor will be temporarily suspended.
The cancellation should be for just one day, and it is expected that the ferry will be running again by Saturday March 8.
The ferry service was briefly cancelled in January due to low water levels, but was reinstated on Wednesday January 22 with a slightly altered schedule.
The new running times for the Santiago de la Ribera-La Manga service are on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays:
- Departing from the jetty in Santiago de la Ribera at 11.30, 13.30 and 17.30
- Departing from Dársena 0, Puerto Tomás Maestre, in La Manga del Mar Menor at 10.15, 12.30 and 16.30
