Montessori British School launches Virtual Wintercamp for 2023-24 Christmas holiday break
Keep the children entertained and learning from home this winter break with fun the Montessori way
The Montessori British School in Murcia, which follows the UK national curriculum taught using the Montessori teaching method, is running a Virtual Wintercamp for children this Christmas holiday period.
Montessori’s Wintercamp is the perfect way to keep young ones entertained and learning over the winter break, and is especially useful for parents who work during this time of year.
It is open to a wide age range of children with a specific programme having been designed for children between 5 and 14 years old so there is something for everyone.
The Virtual Wintercamp includes a variety of activities, from interactive games to science experiments, and from creative crafts to collaborative projects. In accordance with the Montessori approach and principles, all activities are designed to foster independence, creativity and a love of learning in each child.
Children stay active while having fun and learning from home every day between 10am and 1pm.
The camp will be run on weekdays between Tuesday December 26 (Boxing Day) and Friday January 5 (both inclusive).
