Pozo Aledo in San Javier pays tribute to its beloved patron saint, San Isidro Labrador, whose feast day falls on May 15, during an action-packed weekend filled with engaging activities designed to foster tradition and togetherness.

Here's what you can expect on May 15, 16 and 17:

Friday May 15

20.30: Mass in honour of San Isidro Labrador.

21.30: The official opening of the ffiestas with a buffet dinner and live entertainment from Michel Habana.

22.30: The music continues with De Norte a Sur.

23.00: Election of the Fiestas Ball queens.

Saturday May 16

9.00: A spot of zumba to start the day bright and early!

11.00: The regular En Tu Parque o En El Mío children’s event comes to the Plaza de la Iglesia in Pozo Aledo

12.00: 3-a-side football for youngsters, lasting until 16.00 for under-14s and from 16.00 to 20.00 for over-14s.

14.00: Community paella, 2 euros per portion including a drink.

15.00: Coffee from Il Trovatore.

16.00: Raffle and “parchis” ludo competition prize-giving.

22.00: Live entertainment from Cristopher Martínez.

23.00: Chocolate and cake for all.

Sunday May 17

9.00: A hearty breakfast of migas and morcillas.

11.00 to 13.00: Children’s day!

14.00: Community paella, 2 euros per portion including a drink.

15.00: Desserts competition.

15.30: Music from “La Movida DJ García”.

20.00: Mass followed by the procession of the figure of San Isidro Labrador in the streets of Pozo Aledo.

21.30: Buffet dinner and the closing ceremony of the fiestas.
