ARCHIVED - 18th October, open day at Asoka Orihuela animal protection centre
The Asoka animal refuge in San Bartolomé opens its doors to the public
The Asoka animal protection centre in Orihuela is located in the Lo Arques area of the village of San Bartolomé, close to the hospital Vega Baja on the CV-91, and has facilities to house up to 192 dogs and 74 cats as well as various other types of animal including cattle.
On Saturday 18th October Asoka are holding their third annual open doors day, where visitors can not only see the animals but also enjoy a prize raffle, a canine parade and various other activities.
The event is scheduled to last from 11.00 to 14.00. and there will be signs to indicate where the centre is.
