British biker dies after crashing into road sign near Benidorm
The 51 year old died after becoming involved in a motorcycle crash

A British motorcyclist reportedly died this Monday June 23 in the Marina Baixa area of Alicante province.
The Guardia Civil reported that the man, aged 51, was involved in an accident on the CV-715 road at around 2.15pm in the municipality of Tàrbena, around 30 kilometres inland from Benidorm.
For reasons yet to be determined, the motorbike left the road and crashed into a directional sign. No other vehicles were reported to be involved.
The Guardia Civil, along with a medical team and a SAMU medical helicopter, attended the scene at kilometre point 40.500.
Medics tried to save the man, but resuscitation attempts were unsuccessful and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
It is not known whether he was a resident or a tourist, nor whether he was travelling in the company of other motorists.
