ARCHIVED - WATCH: Bizarre clip of Orihuela Costa resident towing mound of garden waste and dumping it in the street
The video has been shared on social media by Orihuela's Street Cleaning Department in the Vega Baja, Alicante province

A video clip of a motorist towing pruning waste bigger than the car itself to dump near bins on a residential street in Orihuela Costa has been shared by the municipality's street cleaning firm in a bid to shame the driver and act as a reminder to others.
The Department of Street Cleaning and RSU of Orihuela has published the clip on its social networks in which a further two large mounds of garden waste can be seen in the background, discarded on the roadside.

The video, filmed in Calle Osa Mayor, is captioned: "Remember that you can not leave a forest in the street, there is a limit: bagged and up to 1,000 litres per dwelling.
"If you need to dispose of large prunings or household goods to find out what day you can deposit on the public highway for collection according to the particular urbanisation."
Orihuela Local Police launches an annual awareness campaign against the deposit of pruning and household items on public roads in breach of the Municipal Ordinance Regulating urban cleaning, sanitation, health and management of urban waste.
As well as distributing information, surveillance was carried out using drones for a month last July.
Flouters caught dumping this type of waste face fines, and last summer 50 residents were penalised for depositing pruning debris in the street.
"The aim is to put an end to a situation of unhealthiness that generates many complaints from neighbours and tourists and that unfortunately is a widespread practice in our municipality, especially in urbanisations and residential areas," said Councillor for Public Safety, Antonio Sánchez.
