Costa Blanca biker group donates uniforms to Torrevieja Alzheimer's Day Centre
The funds raised will go towards buying new staff uniforms for 2025

The Costa Blanca Rawhiders local motorcycle group in Alicante has once again shown its ongoing commitment to the community with a charitable visit to the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Day Centre last Friday. The group presented €668.10 to cover the cost of new staff uniforms for 2025.
Members of the Rawhiders were warmly welcomed by the President of the centre and given a guided tour of the facilities. During the visit, they met both staff and patients, gaining a first-hand insight into the centre’s daily work and the dedication of those who care for people living with Alzheimer’s. The experience was described by the group as deeply humbling.
A spokesperson for AFA Torrevieja (the Alzheimer’s Association) expressed their gratitude, stating: “Thank you to Costa Blanca Rawhiders for your visit today and your magnificent donation to buy uniforms for our team. Year after year, this group of bikers raises money to buy various materials for the needs of the Association, so from AFA Torrevieja, we are always grateful.”

The Rawhiders have supported the Torrevieja Alzheimer’s Association since their foundation in 2010. Rather than donating cash, the group works on a needs-based approach, requesting a ‘wish list’ from the association each year. This often includes items such as kitchen supplies, medical equipment, or uniforms.
Funds are raised through community events, including charity barbecues and sponsored rideouts, with all proceeds going directly towards fulfilling the association’s requested needs.
The Rawhiders’ clubhouse, located on the CV-913 in Callosa de Segura, hosts an Open Day on the second Sunday of each month, offering the public a chance to learn more about their activities and charitable work.
