The weather heats up in Alicante: forecast Jan 30-Feb 2
It’s still going to be fairly chilly in Alicante province this week but the next few days will be dry and bright

It’s not quite time to turn the heating off yet, but the good news is that the temperatures will climb slightly in the next few days after an absolutely frigid weekend.
While it’s still a bit unclear what the incoming weather front will do, meteorologist Lluís Francés believes Alicante is in for a mostly settled week: "In any case, everything points to a stabilisation of the weather over the next few days with skies with a little cloudiness, more pleasant temperatures in the central hours of the day, frost in the interior of the province and humid cold in coastal areas.”
Monday January 30 dawned frosty once again but the humidity made the day feel a bit warmer than what the thermometers said. In general though, and as the day turns towards afternoon, the temperatures will rise considerably compared to Sunday, hovering around the 13ºC mark inland and hitting as high as 15ºC along the coast.
The morning of Tuesday January 31 will begin chilly thanks to a weak to moderate breeze that will create a wind chill in coastal areas, but inland Alicante will enjoy a warm, sunny Tuesday with daytime temperatures reaching 15ºC.
Wednesday February 1 promises to be mostly clear with overcast patches, although the cloudiness could spread to coastal areas towards the evening.
"Perhaps it will be somewhat cooler in the interior regions of Alicante, where frosts will continue to occur and we do not rule out fog banks,” the weather expert has expanded.
Very few significant changes are forecast for Thursday February 2, although the temperatures are set to rise slightly once more, up to a maximum of around 15ºC.
The day will be largely clear or a little cloudy with some weak frosts inland.
