Following orange warnings for thunderstorms and the torrential rain that hit parts of Murcia earlier in the week, the weather is finally settling down across the Region of Murcia. While the next few days will be pretty cloudy overall, the temperatures will gradually creep up day by day, peaking in the high 20s or low 30s on Saturday October 4.

 

According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), Thursday will dawn misty and foggy, especially inland, but this will clear somewhat giving way to partly cloudy skies for the rest of the day. Temperatures will remain unchanged for now.

 

Daytime temperatures will start to climb, more noticeably inland. Another dull morning will develop into a fairly cloudy day with some clear spells from midday.

 

After another cloudy start, the skies will clear later in the day and the temperatures will continue to rise, hitting a pleasant 32ºC in Lorca and even hitting 34ºC in Murcia. Light winds are forecast with breezy intervals along the coast.

 

Sunday will again dawn very overcast but this should give way to partly cloudy skies from around midday. Daytime temperatures will take a bit of a dip but in general, the thermometers should remain in the mid to high-20s.

• Friday October 3: Min 12ºC; Max 30ºC
• Saturday October 4: Min 12ºC; Max 34ºC
• Sunday October 5: Min 12ºC; Max 28ºC
