ARCHIVED - Showers and drop in temperatures forecast in Alicante
The week gets off to a wet and cloudy start in the Valencia region's three provinces, including Alicante
The Valencia region will start the week with showers and thunderstorms in inland areas and a drop in temperatures, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecast.
From 1pm today, Monday, August 2, there will be cloudy intervals with showers and storms with temperatures expected to fall.
The province of Alicante is forecast to record a minimum of 22 degrees and a maximum of 29; with minimum temperatures of 22 and a high of 27 degrees in Valencia province.
Castellón province can expect between 19 and 28 degrees.
Meanwhile, Aemet has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms in the north of the neighbouring Region of Murcia with maximum temperatures likely to reach the high twenties in most of the Costa Cálida.
