La Torre Golf Resort gets new president
A vote has been held to replace the presidency team of the General Community after the previous committee was deemed insufficient

This weekend, a new president and vice president of the community of owners were elected in the hotly contested race on La Torre Golf Resort.
At the resort’s general assembly, it was announced that the new President will be Juan Jesús Atienza and the Vice President Andy Baker, while the other main candidate Linda Robinson lost out on the presidency.
The election was fierce, with many La Torre homeowners asserting that the previous administration had not been up to the task, taking many decisions without consulting the community first.
What’s more, the election itself was mired in some controversy as several residents complained of not having received the email in time inviting them to cast their votes.
It is hoped that the new management team will bring more transparency to the resort’s community of owners and provide clearer and more regular information to property owners on the resort.
