January 27 to February 25 Amoradi Holy Week exhibition of faith, culture and art
Holy Week (Semana Santa) in Almoradí, Alicante was declared of Tourist Interest in 2009

Almoradí is gearing up to celebrate the most traditional event in its calendar, Holy Week (April 2 to April 9), with an extensive exhibition charting the history of the municipality's 10 Brotherhoods.
Holy Week in the Vega Baja town is a mixture of fervour, art and tradition that has been celebrated since the end of the 18th century.
Ahead of the main celebrations, declared of Tourist Interest in 2009, the Department of Tourism has unveiled the large exhibition entitled 'Holy Week in Almoradí, an encounter with Faith, Culture and Art' at the Town Hall Exhibition Hall which will be on public display until February 25.
In addition, a series of activities will take place in the Plaza de Ayuntamiento, details of which will be revealed within the next few days.
And on February 24, a special ceremony will be held to appoint Juan Antonio Obrero Penalva, member of the Brotherhood of San Pedro and Virgen de la Soledad, as the new Confrade of Honour in recognition of his dedication.
