British drug dealers caught offering scooter delivery service in Benidorm
The three Britons offered affordable drugs and a rapid delivery service to hotel guests across the Costa Blanca city
Three British men have been arrested in Benidorm for selling drugs in hotels throughout the city and providing a door-to-door delivery service on electric scooters.
According to sources from the National Police, the dealers found their customers in the bars and restaurants of hotels and offered them drugs at a very affordable price. When clients placed their order, two of the suspects would scoot to another hotel where they were staying, collect the drugs and return “in a matter of minutes”.
The men came to the attention of the authorities when one eagle-eyed hotel manager noticed a suspicious transaction being carried out in his bar. This enabled undercover officers to catch one of the suspects red-handed when was selling marijuana to two tourists. The holidaymakers were reportedly waiting at the door of the hotel for their “order” to arrive.
The second dealer fled the scene on his electric scooter but police immediately tracked him to his hotel, where they found the third Briton who had been left in the room looking after the narcotics and cash.
A further search of the room revealed a large amount of marijuana, divided and packaged in individual doses, money in both euros and GBP, a gold chain and nine fake watches.
It’s unclear whether the British men were also selling the imitation jewellery.
Statements from alleged customers confirmed that the suspects, aged between 30 and 57, had approached them in the hotel bar and offered to deliver cheap drugs to them on their electric scooters.
