Breezy but bright: Alicante weather forecast Nov 23-26
Alicante province can look forward to a cold but sunny weekend
A polar air jet will bring sub-zero night-time temperatures to many regions of Spain this weekend but Alicante will escape the worst of the cold blast. Temperatures will definitely fall over the next few days but the mercury will still hit the high teens and low 20s in general.
On the other hand, occasional strong breezes could create a wind chill, especially in coastal areas.
Thursday November 23
The morning will be very crisp with light frost inland but the rest of the day should be slightly cloudy or clear. The westerly wind will have little impact on Thursday although both the day and nighttime temperatures will fall by a couple of degrees.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: 5ºC to 15ºC
Alicante: 6ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 7ºC to 20ºC
Orihuela: 5ºC to 19ºC
Friday November 24
The temperatures will take a temporary upswing on Friday and climb to the low 20s in most areas although the frost will persist inland and the westerly breeze will begin to pick up strength. The day will again be mostly bright and sunny with some cloudy intervals.

Alcoy: 4ºC to 21ºC
Alicante: 7ºC to 19ºC
Denia: 8ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 7ºC to 22ºC
Orihuela: 6ºC to 21ºC
Saturday November 25
An early northwesterly wind should ease off by mid-morning, giving way to another mostly clear day. Daytime temperatures will fall again after their brief respite but the night will be a little milder.

Alcoy: 7ºC to 20ºC
Alicante: 9ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 7ºC to 20ºC
Sunday November 26
Sunday will be rather overcast in the south of Alicante province with a chance of some scattered showers. Both day and night-time temperatures will take another nosedive, resulting in weak frosts inland.

Alcoy: 6ºC to 20ºC
Alicante: 9ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 19ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 20ºC
Orihuela: 8ºC to 20ºC
