Winds die down and the sun comes out: Alicante weather forecast March 4-7
Although there’s a chance of showers, the coming week should be mostly mild and bright in Alicante province
Weather outlook on Tuesday March 5
Winds reaching 100kmh surged through Alicante province over the weekend, felling trees and dislodging building façades and signposts. The good news is that, while the coming week will still be quite blustery in parts, the wind will gradually die down as the days go by and the first full week in March promises to be mostly bright and clear.
Monday March 4
Starting off the week, the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) expects slightly cloudy skies with occasional sunny breaks. Temperatures will begin to rise, with minimums seeing a slight increase and the mercury reaching 21ºC or 22ºC.
The wind will be moderate to strong, coming from the west and northwest.

Alcoy: 6ºC to 17ºC
Alicante: 10ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 21ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 7ºC to 22ºC
Tuesday March 5
Tuesday promises to be a very pleasant day in Alicante, with mostly clear skies and calm winds. Temperatures will remain steady, neither rising nor falling significantly.

Alcoy: 5ºC to 17ºC
Alicante: 10ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 9ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 8ºC to 21ºC
Wednesday March 6
There will be a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday, with a gentle breeze blowing in from the southeast. Temperatures will be mild, with minimums decreasing inland and maximums rising slightly inland.

Alcoy: 5ºC to 16ºC
Alicante: 8ºC to 18ºC
Denia: 8ºC to 18ºC
Elche: 6ºC to 18ºC
Orihuela: 6ºC to 19ºC
Thursday March 7
There’s a bit of a change on Thursday, with cloudy skies and a chance of light rain in the interior municipalities. Daytime temperatures will be on the rise in the northern half of the region, while the rest of the province will see very few changes.
Winds will remain light and moderate, coming from the east.
