A bizarre clip of a woman gesticulating and shouting at motorists, bringing traffic to a standstill at pedestrian crossings in Benidorm has been shared on social media.

The woman in a white dress clutching a bag can be seen clamly walking onto two zebra crossings in the coastal resort before making offensive hand gestures, shouting obscenities and arguing with the driver of yellow van as motorists pile up waiting for her to move.

Undeterred by the honking of horns, she holds up and even licks her middle finger and refuses to budge for several seconds before nonchantly walking off with a final look of disdain over her shoulder.

The clip follows a previous video shared on social media of a woman on a mobility scooter riding on the wrong side of the road before ranting at a motorcyclist and speeding off into oncoming traffic. She can then be seen turning the scooter around and mounting the pavement in the footage shared on the @benidorm.memeshit Instagram account.

The summer season isn't yet upon us but already clips of Brits behaving badly in Benidorm are surfacing. A video of a randy couple in the throes of drunken passion against a recycling bin in the resort has gone viral, racking up more than 7,000 likes.
