Until March 4 Art exhibition by Joan Castejón in Mazarrón

Obra Gráfica Original traces the career of Joan Castejón from the 1960s to the present aday

The artist Joan Castejón, a native of Elche, is presenting a retrospective of some of his work at the CIME benue in Mazarrón under the title of “Obra Gráfica Original” until March 4.

The exhibition was opened on January 27 and includes examples of the artist’s social realism and expressionism which has brought him international recognition, taking part in exhibitions in New York, Brussels, Paris, Munich, Puerto Rico and numerous cities in Spain. Visitors can see examples of his work dating from the 1960s until the present day, including his tributes to Miguel de Cervantes and Miguel Hernández, and recalling the times when he was banned under General Franco’s dictatorship.

“Obra Gráfica Original” can be seen at the CIME at Avenida de la Constitución nº 65 from Tuesday to Friday between 16.00 and 21.00 and on Saturdays from 10.00 to 14.00.
