Until March 20 FREE Treasures of Tutankhamun exhibition in Crevillente
There will also be themed-workshops and guided tours at Crevillente's Casa de Cultura
Tutankhamun’s tomb, which remained intact in the Valley of Kings for more than 3,000 years before its discovery in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter, is the focus of a fascinating exhibition in Crevillente.
Visitors to the Casa de Cultura from now until March 20 will be able to discover the secrets of Ancient Egypt and find out more about one of the greatest archaeological finds of the 20th century.
And what makes the exhibition even more interesting is there are elements of the treasure found inside the tomb on display that have been faithfully reproduced.
In addition, there will be workshops, guided tours and an audiovisual projection.
The exhibition is viewable at Casa de Cultura Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 1pm and 5.30pm to 9pm. Guided tours take place on Fridays and Saturday at 7.30pm.
