The warmest October in history: Alicante weather forecast Oct 12-15
Alicante will avoid any rain over the weekend and the thermometers will again touch 30ºC

According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), this has been the warmest first half of October since at least 1950 in the province of Alicante, with temperatures around 3.4ºC above average. This second summer has already surpassed 2013 by around 1ºC, the year which held the record up until now.
"The stability, the entry of warm subtropical air masses, the gentle agitation of the sea and the absence of storms in the last three weeks have also resulted in the Balearic Sea having an average temperature of 25ºC, which are values not recorded on these dates since at least 1940. With this sea being so warm, with more normal values at the beginning of September, it is logical that the breezes that slide across the sea are also very soft,” explained Aemet.
Because of the warm air mass hovering over the province, Alicante is unlikely to be touched by the storm set to hit the rest of Spain later in the weekend and the there’s hardly a drop of rain on the horizon.
"In fact, the blowing winds from the west will make the maximum temperatures even higher over the weekend,” the expert added.
Thursday October 12

After an overcast start Thursday will be mostly bright and sunny. Daytime temperatures could rise slightly inland but will remain much the same otherwise.
