Sunny skies and balmy temperatures: Alicante weather forecast Oct 9-12

The Valencian Community celebrates its bespoke bank holiday, ‘Día de la Comunidad Valenciana,’ on October 9 and the weather promises to be warm and sunny for the festivities. In fact, the second summer Alicante province is enjoying is set to last a little longer yet, and the entire week should be dry and pleasant across the board.

Monday October 9

The morning will get off to a rather dark and overcast start but this will clear up early on, giving way to a largely bright afternoon. The temperatures won’t vary much compared to Sunday, although the mercury could drop by a degree or so.

Light variable winds will develop some sea breezes later in the day.

Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday

Alcoy: 13ºC to 27ºC

Alicante: 16ºC to 27ºC

Denia: 17ºC to 26ºC

Elche: 16ºC to 27ºC

Orihuela: 17ºC to 28ºC

Tuesday October 10

Tuesday will again be foggy with possible mists in the early morning and cloudy intervals will mark the rest of the day. Very few changes are expected temperature-wise.

Alcoy: 12ºC to 27ºC

Alicante: 16ºC to 28ºC

Denia: 17ºC to 27ºC

Elche: 16ºC to 28ºC

Orihuela: 17ºC to 29ºC

Wednesday October 11

Wednesday should be mostly clear or slightly cloudy after a relatively dark start to the day, especially along the southern coast. Both daytime and night-time temperatures will remain largely unchanged.

Alicante: 16ºC to 27ºC

Denia: 17ºC to 27ºC

Elche: 16ºC to 28ºC

Thursday again promises to be mostly bright and sunny with a light easterly breeze in the afternoon. Daytime temperatures will remain in the high 20s.
