Summery temperatures make a comeback: Alicante weather forecast Jan 22-28
The province of Alicante will reach highs of 26ºC and 27ºC by the middle of the week
Weather outlook on Thursday January 25
The summery days southern Spain is famous for are about to make a dramatic comeback this week after storm Juan left some much needed rain in the province of Alicante. As the days go by, a powerful anticyclone will leave bright and sunny days in its wake and the mercury is tipped to hit an incredible 27ºC in parts.
Monday January 22
Monday will more or less follow the trend of the last few days, with an overcast and chilly morning giving way to a much brighter afternoon. There’ll be few changes to the night-time temperatures but the mercury will begin to rise during the day.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Monday
Alcoy: 4ºC to 18ºC
Alicante: 6ºC to 18ºC
Denia: 6ºC to 17ºC
Elche: 5ºC to 20ºC
Orihuela: 5ºC to 19ºC
Tuesday January 23
Daytime temperatures will continue to climb into the 20s on a day that promises to be mostly clear with just a few scattered high clouds.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Tuesday
Alcoy: 11ºC to 20ºC
Alicante: 10ºC to 20ºC
Denia: 10ºC to 19ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 22ºC
Orihuela: 8ºC to 22ºC
Wednesday January 24
The temperatures will shoot up throughout Alicante province on Wednesday, especially inland. Wednesday will be slightly cloudy with a light southerly wind along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Wednesday
Alcoy: 11ºC to 24ºC
Alicante: 12ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 11ºC to 21ºC
Elche: 9ºC to 24ºC
Orihuela: 9ºC to 24ºC
Thursday January 25
Thursday evening will be quite cool, particularly in comparison to an unusually hot day with temperatures expected to reach the high 20s in the entire province. The skies will once again be mostly clear with intervals of high clouds.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: 12ºC to 25ºC
Alicante: 14ºC to 25ºC
Denia: 10ºC to 25ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 26ºC
Orihuela: 10ºC to 27ºC
The weekend (January 26, 27 and 28)
Temperatures will begin to fall on Friday January 26 but the mercury should remain in the 20s until at least the beginning of next week. Saturday January 27 and Sunday January 28 promise to be bright and sunny with no possibility of rain on the horizon.

Alcoy: 11ºC to 24ºC
Alicante: 12ºC to 21ºC
Denia: 11ºC to 29ºC
Elche: 8ºC to 23ºC
Orihuela: 9ºC to 24ºC
