Showers set to continue all week: Murcia weather forecast March 3-6
The coming week will be damp and dreary throughout the Region of Murcia

Weather outlook on Wednesday March 5
The new month arrived in Spain with a storm to rival the very worst winter weather, and the Region of Murcia was one of the hardest hit. Weather warnings were issued left and right and it’s estimated that 20mm of rain fell in just one hour in parts of Cartagena, Mazarrón, Lorca and Águilas.
The good news is that while the coming week will still be damp and dreary, the rain shouldn’t reach the same torrential proportions.
Monday March 3

The week will get off to a dark, overcast start with fairly widespread rainfall, but this should be light in most parts with the exception of the extreme north of the Region. Daytime temperatures will start to climb, hitting 17ºC in the likes of Cartagena and Murcia.
Tuesday March 4

Few changes are expected on Tuesday but those persistent showers could turn stormy at various times throughout the day. Suspended dust will also make an appearance, which could lead to mud and sludge in parts.
Daytime temperatures will continue to rise, especially along the coast.
Cartagena and Mazarrón have been issued with a yellow warning for dangerous sea conditions.
Wednesday March 5

Very cloudy skies accompanied by occasional showers are forecast on Wednesday. The rain will be more intense and likely inland, where it may be locally persistent.
Suspended dust and muddy rain are also expected.
Thursday March 6

More stormy intervals are forecast inland on Thursday but the entire Region can expect light to moderate rain and showers. Temperatures should rise slightly once more.
