ARCHIVED - San Fulgencio in Alicante seeks help in campaign to manage feral cat population
Project CES captures, neuters and releases felines in the Vega Baja area of Alicante province
As part of its Project CES campaign to control the feral cat population in San Fulgencio, the town council is appealing to members of the public to help locate colonies of street felines.
The local authority “needs to know where these colonies are located so breeding can be controlled,” explained the Animal Welfare Department.
📍 Project CES is the method that #SanFulgencio Town Council has implemented to manage feral cat population 🐈 through capturing, neutering and releasing the animals.

Once they are located, the animals will be captured using cage-traps and neutered at a local veterinary clinic before being released back into their colonies.
Anyone who knows where there are populations of feral cats in the town is asked to call the council on 656 631 148 or email aferrandez@ayto-sanfulgencio.es
