Persistent rain all weekend: Alicante weather forecast March 6-9
Temperatures will remain mild in Alicante province but it will be another wet and dreary weekend

Average temperatures expected on Saturday March 8
Storm Jana will sweep across all of Spain this weekend, resulting in yet more widespread downpours and thunderstorms. Parts of the Valencian Community have been issued with orange alerts for heavy rain but while it will be wet throughout Alicante province, no adverse weather warnings have been activated.
Thursday March 6

After widespread rain overnight, Thursday will dawn very overcast and the wet weather will continue. The showers will be light enough in southern Alicante and more persistent in the north. Temperatures will top out at around 18ºC at the height of the day and the breeze could feel blustery along the coast in the afternoon.
Friday March 7

Friday will be very cloudy but southern Alicante should remain dry, with rain only forecast further north. Daytime temperatures are on the rise.
Saturday March 8

Cloudy or overcast skies are expected in all areas with widespread light rain, which will be heavier in the north of Alicante. Temperatures will also creep up by a degree or two in the southern Costa Blanca.
A light easterly wind will turn blustery in coastal areas from midday.
Sunday March 9

Overnight rain will continue during the early morning and again in the late afternoon, but there should be plenty of dry spells. The skies will remain cloudy but few changes are expected temperature-wise.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante this weekend

- Friday March 7: Min 9ºC; Max 18ºC
- Saturday March 8: Min 9ºC; Max 19ºC
