Ouigo launches 9 euro train tickets between Alicante and Madrid

High-speed rail company Ouigo is celebrating a new route with a cut-price sale. On Wednesday October 9, which is coincidentally also Valencia Day, passengers will be able to bag a bargain on the rail service between Valladolid, Segovia, Madrid, Cuenca, Albacete and Alicante.

Fares start at just 9 euros for adults one way, with a flat rate of 7 euros for children aged between 4 and 13. Children under 3 years go free once they can travel in the arms of an adult and don’t take up their own seat.

This offer applies to train travel seven days a week, from December 15 to June 29 next year.

The mega sale will begin at 11am sharp and tickets will be available on both the Ouigo website and its mobile app.

In addition, on October 18, tickets will go on sale for a direct train route between Valladolid and Valencia, which takes just over three hours, and a Segovia-Valencia service with a journey time of two and a half hours.

These tickets can also be purchased for travel from December 15, 2024 to June 29, 2025.

So far, the French rail company already connects Valladolid with Madrid in one hour, and with Segovia in 32 minutes. This line includes a direct service to Alicante in 3 hours and 44 minutes, without the need to make transfers. Likewise, the route also allows passengers to reach Albacete from Valladolid in just 2 hours and 46 minutes and Cuenca in 2 hours and 18 minutes.

As an added bonus, passengers can now travel from Madrid to Murcia, with a stop in Elche, with Ouigo. Check out the website on October 9 for some more great deals on this route for the same travel period, December-June.
