November 8 and 9 Dog Show and Pet Fair at the at the IFEPA exhibition centre in Torre Pacheco
The most popular dog show in Spain takes place in Murcia with hundreds of dog-based activities and events
The second year of the new cat show alongside the main event at the IFEPA!
Over the weekend of November 8 and 9, the 2025 edition of the annual "Exposición Canina Nacional e Internacional" dog show is taking place at the IFEPA exhibition centre and showground in Torre Pacheco.
This event is one of the highlights of the year at IFEPA and is eagerly anticipated by animal lovers across the Region of Murcia. It is also one of the top canine professional events in Spain and Europe, and is organised by the Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones de la Región de Murcia in conjunction with the Murcia Canine Society (Sociedad Canina de Murcia).
There are plenty of activities at the event, including the Canine Beauty Contests, in which thousands of dogs of all breeds compete, plus the 'Salón de la Mascota', a full programme of exhibitions of dog training and skills, charity activites, contests and much more…
Unmissable are the programme of canine obedience demonstrations along with others related to dog intelligence, dog agility, dog training, dog rescue, dog care, dog grooming, trade stands selling everything to do with dogs… in short, everything dog-related that you can possibly imagine!
In all of the competition categories the judges are extremely well respected in their field, and this, along with the sheer number abd variety of animals on show, is one of the reasons for the event's huge popularity and success over the years.
In addition, this year for the second time the ASFE Spanish feline association is joining in and there is an International Cat Show taking place alongside.
The Dog Show at IFEPA also has a large commercial area in the "Salón de la Mascota" with around 50 companies related to the canine world selling accessories and complements, nutritional items, plus businesses like veterinary clinics, animal shelters and more - this could be the perfect opportunity to adopt a new pet!
The exhibition covers 27,000 square metres and has 22 showrings giving presentations on various breeds including Spanish water dogs, collies, schnauzers, French bulldogs, teckels and others, which visitors are welcome to join and watch. Taking part will be dogs not only from Spain but also from many other countries and the 20 international expert judges will be from different countries.
On the Sunday, visitors will be able to take part in the 'Mascotada Competition', with prizes given out for the friendliest dog, the most imposing dog, the most original pet and loads more categories, and throughout the weekend there are opportunities to learn about pet adoption.

The Exposición Canina Nacional e Internacional 2025 is open on Saturday November 8 from 9.00 to 20.00 and on Sunday November 9 from 9.00 to 18.00. Tickets are priced at 7 euros on the door or 5 euros if you purchase in advance here.

The IFEPA Fairs and Exhibitions Centre of the Region of Murcia, (the Palacio de Ferias y 
Exposiciones Región de Murcia IFEPA) has become one of the most important commercial reunion points for business professionals in South-eastern Spain, having been in operation from 1984.
IFEPA hosts many cultural & trading fairs, public exhibitions and events throughout the year, including the annual 
horse and dog shows, wedding show, antiques fair, car fair and tourism fair, as well as musical events.
The exhbition centre is spread over 57,098m2, with both interior and exterior display areas, and on-site parking for more than 2,500 vehicles. In addition to the main exhibition areas, IFEPA also house a café, restaurant, VIP lounge, and several assembly and meeting rooms.
The centre is ideally located in the centre of the region, in the middle of the Murcia-Cartagena axis and near to Corvera International Airport, with the large population and the high number of tourists in the Mar Menor area guaranteeing an excellent attendance level at all the events it hosts.
The IFEPA Exhibitions Centre hosts a number of annual events at national level in collaboration with various bodies, associations and organisms across a variety of sectors, as well as hosting other cultural, sporting and community activities.
