Murcia weather April 7-10: More rain forecast at the end of this week
It’s not time to store those brollies just yet – they might come in handy from this Thursday onwards
Murcia weather forecast, Monday April 7
The beginning of this week in the Region of Murcia should be very warm and sunny, but some more gentle rainfall is forecast for the tail end of the week and as we head into the weekend, according to the forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
On Monday April 7, unbroken sunshine is the order of the day for the entire Region, bringing temperatures of up to a very summery 28ºC in the area around Murcia city at around 4pm, while most other places will reach up to around 21-24ºC at the height of the day. Minimum temperatures just after dawn will be as low as 7ºC up in the surrounds of Caravaca de la Cruz, while in central and coastal Murcia it will be more like 12-15ºC.

Tuesday 8 should also be gorgeously sunny with gentle breezes. Minimum temperatures will begin to rise slightly and maximums will dip a little – a trend we will see continue over the course of the week.

Wednesday 9 will be slightly cloudier and cooler, but the chance of rain is still very low and temperatures will still be pleasant.

It is on Thursday afternoon, April 10, that the gathering clouds are expected to bring “light rainfall” to much of Murcia. Minimum temperatures continue to rise and maximums fall, while the easterly winds turn from “light to moderate inland and moderate to strong on the coast”.

Aemet forecasts more rain for Friday morning and on Saturday, too, so it’s not time to put those umbrellas away just yet, and in fact meteorologists are expecting a wet Semana Santa Easter week the following week, too!

- Tuesday April 8: Min 8ºC; Max 26ºC
- Wednesday April 9: Min 8ºC; Max 25ºC
- Thursday April 10: Min 9ºC; Max 23ºC
