Much colder but no chance of rain: Alicante weather forecast April 2-4
The storms have moved on from Alicante province and the week ahead looks dry and settled
Weather outlook on Wednesday April 3
Much to the relief of Easter holidaymakers, Storm Nelson has blown past Alicante province after leaving behind a weekend of lashing rain, driving winds and treacherous waves. The weather for the week ahead is thankfully much more settled, although the temperatures both at the height of the day and at night will continue to fall.
Tuesday April 2
Tuesday will be the most mixed day of the week throughout Alicante. The morning will start off with partial cloud cover, gradually becoming more overcast throughout the day, although there will be plenty of sunny spells here and there.
Temperature-wise, it will be a good deal cooler than previous days, although the evening will be similar enough to Monday.
Gentle southerly breezes will feel more blustery along the coast.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Tuesday
Alcoy: 7ºC to 17ºC
Alicante: 11ºC to 19ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 20ºC
Elche: 9ºC to 21ºC
Orihuela: 9ºC to 23ºC
Wednesday April 3
Moving on to Wednesday, the forecast is for a bright and sunny day with hardly a cloud in the sky. The temperatures will shoot up by a couple of degrees and any westerly winds that blow through will be weak enough.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Wednesday
Alcoy: 10ºC to 22ºC
Alicante: 11ºC to 25ºC
Denia: 12ºC to 22ºC
Elche: 10ºC to 26ºC
Orihuela: 11ºC to 26ºC
Thursday April 4
Looking ahead to Thursday, another dry day with plenty of sunshine is expected. The skies will be clear and bright from the very early morning, and the few isolated clouds will scatter as the day goes by.
Although the mercury won't rise as high as Wednesday, the night-time temperatures will remain at a mild 11ºC. Light southerly breezes will gain strength along the coast in the afternoon.
Minimum and maximum temperatures on Thursday
Alcoy: 10ºC to 23ºC
Alicante: 11ºC to 22ºC
Denia: 11ºC to 23ºC
Elche: 11ºC to 25ºC
Orihuela: 11ºC to 26ºC
