Mazarrón and Puerto de Mazarrón will once again have their Semana Santa Easter parades this year after they had to be cancelled last year due to Covid.
Semana Santa Holy Week celebrations in Spain involve religious processions weighty with tradition and images of Christ on the cross carried by the religious brotherhoods (‘cofradías’) and is really a sight to see.
This year, Easter in Spain runs from Sunday April 10 to the following Sunday, April 17. More details about what will be involved in the Puerto de Mazarrón and Mazarrón Easter festivities will be released with the official posters in the next week.
