May 7-10 Torrevieja May Fair
Four days of flamenco, music and Andalucian tradition at Antonio Soria Park

Torrevieja is gearing up for one of its most popular annual celebrations, with the May Fair 2026 running from Thursday May 7 to Sunday May 10 at Antonio Soria Park.
Declared a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest, it's one of the standout spring events on the Costa Blanca and draws thousands of visitors over the four days.
Things get underway on Thursday at noon with the opening of the fairgrounds, followed by the official inauguration ceremony in the evening, which includes a performance of the local anthem by the UMT band and a fireworks display. Dance academy performances will round out the first night, keeping the celebrations going well into the early hours.
Friday continues in much the same spirit, with more performances from local dance schools and live music that stretches late into the night, keeping the festive atmosphere going for a second day.
Saturday is arguably the highlight of the fair, starting with the traditional Rocío Mass at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, accompanied by the Brisa del Sur Choir. After the ceremony, a colourful parade of riders and carriages makes its way through the city to the fairgrounds, where the customary horse parade takes place. Dance academies and musical groups perform throughout the rest of the day.
Sunday brings the fair to a close with more dance performances before the grand final of the Copla Competition, organised by the Casa de Andalucía Rafael Alberti, and an emotional closing ceremony featuring flamenco choirs and the competition finalists.
Thirteen organisations are taking part this year, managing a total of 15 booths across the park, and there's a charitable element too, with the municipal booth donating all its proceeds to Alimentos Solidarios, a local food solidarity initiative.
