ARCHIVED - March 24 to 26 Equimur horse show at the IFEPA centre in Torre Pacheco
IFEPA hosts the 27th edition of one of the most important annual horse shows in Spain
The 27th annual EQUIMUR International Thoroughbred Horse Show is being held from March 24 to 26 at the IFEPA exhibition and show venue in Torre Pacheco, EQUIMUR 2023, along with the usual wide range of events over the weekend including equestrian shows, the Spanish national Purebred Competition, Cowboy Dressage, national and regional dressage competitions, the Alta Escuela Competition, a Carriage Driving Competition and many others.
As in previous years, there is also a Ponies Jump Show and plenty of workshops and Informative talks for professionals and the public, as well as a food area, a shopping area and much more!
The main events begin on the Saturday at 13.00 and 20.30, and on Sunday March 26 at 13.00.
One of the main attractions is expected to be the return to Torre Pacheco of the horse whisperer” Santi Serra!
Visitors will also be able to see the horses competing in their respective pens and boxes.
Tickets can be purchased in advance via the IFEPA website here, with significant discounts on a one-day permit (7 euros rather than 10 euros). Other tickets range from 5 euros for the Sunday show to a 25-euro 3-day pass.

The IFEPA Fairs and Exhibitions Centre of the Region of Murcia, (the Palacio de Ferias y Exposiciones Región de Murcia IFEPA) has become one of the most important commercial reunion points for business professionals in South-eastern Spain, having been in operation from 1984.
IFEPA hosts many cultural & trading fairs, public exhibitions and events throughout the year, including the annual horse and dog shows, wedding show, antiques fair, car fair and tourism fair, as well as musical events.
The exhbition centre is spread over 57,098m2, with both interior and exterior display areas, and on-site parking for more than 2,500 vehicles. In addition to the main exhibition areas, IFEPA also house a café, restaurant, VIP lounge, and several assembly and meeting rooms.
The centre is ideally located in the centre of the region, in the middle of the Murcia-Cartagena axis and near to Corvera International Airport, with the large population and the high number of tourists in the Mar Menor area guaranteeing an excellent attendance level at all the events it hosts.
The IFEPA Exhibitions Centre hosts a number of annual events at national level in collaboration with various bodies, associations and organisms across a variety of sectors, as well as hosting other cultural, sporting and community activities.
