June 4 Free bird-spotting walk in the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar

A morning of ornithological sightseeing in the Regional Park of San Pedro

In the course of this gentle three-hour walk around the salt flats of the regional park of San Pedro del Pinatar there are plenty of chances to observe some of the most representative of the bird species which live and nest in this unique environment, including of course the iconic flamingos which spend part of the year here.

The tour begins at 18.00 at the flamingo roundabout outside the Las Salinas visitors centre, and lasts approximately two hours. Those taking part are asked to avoid wearing brightly coloured clothing, and are advised to bring mosquito spray, a cap, a bite to eat and drinking water.
