June 26-28 LGBTIQ+ Pride events 2025 in Águilas, Murcia
The municipality is preparing for the celebration of International Pride Day on Saturday June 28

This programme has been designed by Águilas’s Department of Equality and the association Águilas Diversa, with the collaboration of the Red Cross Youth.
The main event will take place on Saturday June 28 when, coinciding with the International Day itself, a full day of activities will take place in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos, including a ‘Gymkhana’ activity course, the reading of the institutional manifesto, a drag performance in the evening and a concert in the Casino de Águilas.
Various buildings around the town will be showing their solidarity by lighting up with the colours of the Rainbow flag.
Here is the full programme of events for Pride 2025 in Águilas:
Thursday June 26
- 8.30pm: Open mic – ‘20 years of Equal Marriage’ in the Casino de Águilas
Friday June 27
- 10pm: Film screening and discussion – ‘Te estoy amando locamente’ in the Parque Explorador Felipe López López (in front of the IES Rey Carlos III high school)
“Spanish LGTBIQ+ drama film from 2023, directed by Alejandro Marin. Seville, 1977. At a time when homosexuality is a crime, Reme, a traditional mother moved by love for her son, a teenage aspiring artist, becomes involved in the Andalusian LGTBI movement, which paradoxically was born in the heart of the church.”
Saturday June 28
Events in the Plaza de Antonio Cortijos
- 7pm-8.30pm: Diversity Gymkhana organised by the Red Cross Youth
- 8.30pm: Reading of the institutional manifesto of the FEMP, speech by the President of Águilas Diversa and speech by the Councillor for Equality.
- 9pm: Presentation and animation of the FESTIVE-REIVINDICATIVE EVENT by OJETE PICOR and organised by Asociación Águilas Diversa (donation €3)
- 9.30pm: Musical bingo with Kiki
- 10pm: Performance by Drag Morena and Drag Yumala
- From 12 midnight: DJ Häre concert in the Casino
Subsequently, the Pride activities continue in August with the V Pride of Águilas on Saturday August 23, a parade with carnival floats and lots f performances. Stay tuned for more closer to the time!
