June 1 Orihuela Costa Pride hosted by the Emerald Isle
Get ready for the inaugural Orihuela Costa Pride with some of the best entertainment on the Costa Blanca
The Emerald Isle La Florida plays host to the Orihuela Costa’s first ever Pride Day this Saturday June 1, a milestone that promises to celebrate love, diversity and self-expression in an action-packed, fun-filled event.
From early morning to late night, immerse yourself in a colourful tapestry of artistic talent, with electrifying performances from celebrated local DJs, drag queens, vocalists and dynamic dance groups.
The festival kicks off with the Pride Parade, which commences between 11am and 11.30am, travelling from the Emerald Isle to the Abbey Tavern before returning to the heart of the celebrations at around 1pm.
Throughout the day, browse through bustling market stalls, sample mouthwatering culinary treats and revel in festive vibes.
The Emerald Isle will throw the doors open at 10am, starting the day with DJ Luscious at 1pm followed by the fabulous NIKkI G who will open the Pride entertainment at 2pm.
Of course, your inimitable hosts Stevie Spit and Dame Marcy will be making appearances throughout the festivities and ensuring everyone is up on the feet and enjoying the day.
Orihuela Costa Pride will feature a diverse line-up of talented artists, musicians and performers, including:
- Chloe Leigh as Cher
- Edward Blundell Williams from the Jersey Boys
- Chloe Jones
- Martin Kent Drag Queen from Benidorm
- Leroy Vickers
- Surprise drag queen with the Crazy Ladies
- Carla Stone and her Bette Midler Show
- Fusion International with Stevie Spit
- Rebecca Holt
- Fire and Rain unique fire breathing dance show with live vocals by Rainnaidh O' Connor
- Indian Bollywood dance group
- DJ Angeliye spinning the tunes til late
