July 5 The Scott Hamilton Quartet in concert at the 25th San Javier Jazz Festival

The concert at the Almansa Park New Theater features special guests Ignasi Terraza and Pepa Niebla

After over 40 albums as a band leader, most of them on the Concord Records label, the American saxophonist SCOTT HAMILTON is considered one of the leading figures of the neo-traditionalist current within jazz, his mastery of the tenor sax making him a point of reference for those who love the warmth of tone of Ben Webster and Coleman Hawkins in the past.

Within the exceptional quartet he brings to San Javier the most prominent members are Ignasi Terraza and the latest great revelation of vocal jazz in Spain, Pepa Niebla, as a special guest.

This fourth concert of the 2023 San Javier Jazz Festival begins at 22.30 in New Theatre of the Parque Almansa with tickets priced at 15 euros. Season tickets are also available: for bookings and further information click here.
