Hostel reopens in the mountains of Sierra del Carche

Jumilla recovers the use of the hostel after a hiatus of four years

After four years of closure due to problems with the water supply, the municipal hostel of the mountains of Sierra del Carche in Jumilla is set to reopen to visitors, following an investment of 26,150 euros on the part of the regional government of Murcia.

Most of the budget was spent on updating the water system and complying with legionella legislation, as well as increasing general security. The electricity infrastructures have also been updated, and as a result the building will once again be able to host educational activities for young people.
