A tiny hamlet in the province of Ourense, Galicia, has gone on the market for €850,000, offering its future owner not just a handful of homes but an entire slice of rural Spain complete with its own chapel, village shop and even a former medical dispensary.

Suggestions include transforming it into a rural tourism destination, a wellness retreat, a centre for group activities or even a co-housing community where people live together while enjoying their own private homes.
