Famous Irish singer records chaos on board a Ryanair flight to Ibiza
The plane was full of young passengers who started to get out of control during the flight
Irish singer and designer Roisin Murphy was flying from London's Stansted Airport to Ibiza on Friday evening, October 25.
Hoping to relax and read a book during the journey, unfortunately, she wasn't able to as the Ryanair plane was packed with young passengers who started to get wild mid-flight.
During the flight, the travellers shouted, drank, sang as the party was in full swing.
"I'm pretty sure I was the only one trying to read Dostoevsky!" the singer wrote when she shared the whole episode on her social media.
In the video posted on Roisin Murphy's Instagram profile, it can be seen that some passengers on the Ryanair flight to Ibiza began playing music at full volume on their portable speakers.
Many of the passengers then began singing at the top of their lungs and even dancing in the aisle of the plane, without any member of the crew calling them to attention at any time.
Ryanair is planning to crack down on such behaviour. Ryanair's chairman, Michael O'Leary, has announced that the low-cost airline may introduce strict restrictions on alcohol consumption on board aircraft.
British airlines have already banned the consumption of alcohol purchased in the duty-free zone on board. This ban applies to party destinations such as Ibiza, Málaga and Tenerife.
