Enjoy the last of the winter sunshine: Spain weather forecast Nov 16-19
Dry, bright and warm weather is forecast in most of Spain before the cold sets in after the weekend

Weather forecast on Thursday November 16
An anticyclonic front has been hovering over Spain for the last few days, resulting in temperatures in excess of 30ºC in much of the Mediterranean, incredibly high values for this time of year. But make the most of the next few days, as from Monday a polar jet will descend on the country, launching us from summer sun into a real winter chill.
That’s still a little way off though and the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has forecast a pleasant weekend with the rain confined to the extreme north of Spain.
“During the next few days, temperatures will continue at levels clearly above the usual values for these dates. The air mass that will fly over our country will be one of the warmest to visit us in mid-November in at least the last 30 years,” a spokesperson said.
Thursday November 16

Most of Spain will enjoy slightly cloudy or clear skies on Thursday although an Atlantic front associated with Storm Frederico will result in weak rainfall in Galicia and Cantabria.
Abundant low morning clouds will cause mists and fog in the Balearic Islands and along the Atlantic slope on the mainland.
Daytime temperatures will drop considerably in Andalucia and the Canary Islands as well as the Mediterranean coast while still remaining around the mid 20s.
Friday November 17

Friday will start off very overcast in most of the country apart from the extreme south but this will give way to mostly bright and sunny skies later in the day. More unstable weather is expected in the northeast of Catalonia and the north of the Balearic Islands, but it’s unlikely to spread any further.
Night-time temperatures will fall across the board with few changes to the maximums.
Saturday November 18

The forecast for Saturday is very similar to the previous days although the sun will take much longer to come out in the southeast of Spain. The daytime temperatures will tend to recover in most of the country but they will take a dip along the Mediterranean coast, the Andalucian Atlantic coast and the Balearic Islands.
The evening will be much warmer in Galicia and mountain areas but the mercury will drop everywhere else.
Sunday November 19

We’re expected to see the last of the summery weather on Sunday and the day will be bright and sunny in most of the country with only slightly cloudy skies.
Few changes are predicted temperature-wise although the thermometers will fall in western Spain.
