ARCHIVED - Elche outdoor swimming pools to reopen without restrictions from June 18
Elche in the Baix Vinalopo area of Alicante province has seven open-air pools
As the summer bathing season fast approaches, Elche has announced the reopening of its seven open-air swimming pools from Saturday June 18.
The pools will remain open - without anti-Covid restrictions - until Sunday September 4, except for the Torrellano pool and two in the town centre which will close a week later on September 11.
Bathers are welcome from Tuesday to Friday, 11am to 7pm, on Saturdays from 10am to 8pm, and on Sundays 10am to 7pm. Entry costs 1.05 euros for children and 2.05 euros for adults and cost-saving vouchers can also be purchased.
Swimming courses will be offered at Elche's indoor pools from June 26 to July 15; in the outdoor pools, the intensive courses will take place from June 26 to July 29. Aquagym activities will also take held from June 26 to July 29 at the Ciudad Deportiva, Parque Deportivo and El Pla pools.
