ARCHIVED - Denia Tallada Cave visits by pre-booking only this summer
The cave sits at the foot of Denia's San Antonio cliffs in the Marina Alta, Alicante province.
Considered a "jewel of nature on the Costa Blanca" Denia's Cova Tallida (carved or curved cave) can only be explored by pre-booking this summer.
The spectacular oceanfront cave, which was carved and created in the 12th to 14th centuries, boasts a natural pool and incredible arches, making it an attractive location kayaking, swimming and snorkelling.
But to avoid overcrowding, access has been regulated, and from June 15 to September 30, anyone who wants to explore the cave in the Montgo Natural Park or take part in any organised activities must book in advance.
Find out more and pre-book visits at the Valencia government's natural parks site.
