ARCHIVED - December 4 Life in the World of Salt, free guided tour IN ENGLISH of the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar
Wildlife and salt production in the spectacular landscape of the Regional Park of San Pedro
The route of this guided walk in the Regional Park of the Salt Flats and Dunes of San Pedro del Pinatar follows a path which cross the saltwater until reaching the Coterillo pine grove. The walk begins at 11.00 at the entrance of the Regional Park in front of the Las Salinas Visitors Centre.
This is an easy walk over a distance of just 2 kilometres, but with frequent stops along the way to see the local flora and fauna it is expected to last around 2 hours. Walkers are recommended to bring comfortable clothes and footwear, sunscreen, cap, snack food, water and binoculars to observe the birdlife in the area.
The event is free of charge but prior registration is required here.
