December 22 Orihuela Costa Santa Claus Parade
Father Christmas and his elves will travel through the streets to the Zenia Boulevard main stage
The holiday season is a time for joy, laughter, and celebration and one of the most beloved traditions is the Santa Claus Parade, bringing together families, friends and communities to kick off the holiday season in style.
This year, Father Christmas and his elves will be taking to the streets of Orihuela Costa at 5pm on Friday December 22, and the procession will wind its way to the Zenia Boulevard commercial centre where Santa will delight the throngs of children from the main stage.
Direct from the North Pole, Santa Claus will be accompanied by a troupe of dancers, jugglers, snowmen and even soldiers and a dazzling array of colourful floats.
The parade will begin on Calle and move towards the CEIP in Los Dolses, passing through Calle Dalí and Calle Jade, finishing up at Centro Comercial Zenia Boulevard.
In case you haven’t had your fill of the big guy, Father Christmas will be making a second appearance in Orihuela city on December 23, this time at 12 noon.
The procession will set off from Plaza del Carmen towards Calle Marqués de Arneva, López Pozas, Loaces, Calderón de la Barca, San Pascual, Puente Viejo, Ramón y Cajal to Plaza. de la Soledad, where Santa will greet the masses beside the Christmas village.
