Cultural Programme
- November 4 to December 2: ‘Barrancos de Gebas. Laberinto Inexpugnable’ exhibition by Paco Almagro at the Culture House (Casa de Cultura), Inauguration on November 4 at 8pm.
- November 5 to 28: ‘Profundidad Zero’ exhibition by Murfy at the Los Baños Archaeological Museum.
- November 6, 7pm to 8.30pm: Adult Theatre ‘The only thing a great actress needs is a performance and the desire to succeed’ at El Posito exhibition centre. Tickets cost seven euros.
- November 11, 8.30pm: ‘¿Quien nos ha robado la calle?’ book presentation by Gabriel Maldonado Rufete at the Los Baños Archaeological Museum. Invite required.
- November 12 to December 4: Covid collective exhibition at El Posito exhibition centre.
- November 13, 9pm: theatrical visit ‘Don Juan Tenorio’. This free activity leaves from the Tourism Office and participants can sign up from October 29 through the Tourism Office (968 633 512) or online.
- November 18 and 19, 8pm: activities in honour of Saint Cecilia. Concert by the Musical Association of Alhama de Murcia at the Teatro Cine Velasco. Free entry.
- November 20, 7pm: activities in honour of Saint Cecilia. Concert by the Musical Association of Alhama de Murcia at the Teatro Cine Velasco. Free entry.
- November 27, 9pm: ‘Retratos’ album presentation by Jerónimo Galian at the Teatro Cine Velasco. Invite required.
- December 2, 8.30pm: ‘Once upon a time in Alhama. Stories and legends of the twentieth century. Photographic memory’ book presentation by Paco Espadas Hernández at the Teatro Cine Velasco.
- December 9, 8.30pm: ‘Lucía: la romí lorquina’ book presentation by Luís Caparrós Mirón at the Los Baños Archaeological Museum.
- December 10 to 29: exhibition by students from the Formateart Association at El Posito exhibition centre.
- December 12, 7pm: Christmas carols concert at the Culture House (Casa de Cultura). There is a five euro donation for the Spanish Cancer Association.
- December 17: Conservatory students’ audition.
- December 25, 8.30pm: performance by the pastors of the Virgen del Rosario choirs and dances group at the Teatro Cine Velasco.
Guided Tours and Visits
- Theatrical visit: free activity lasting around 90 minutes on November 21 (11am), December 19 (11am) and December 26 (11am).
- Museum Tour: free activity lasting around 50 minutes, available for both English (11am on November 9 and December 7) and Spanish speakers (11am on November 6 and December 4).
- Urban Monument route: cultural activity lasting around 90 minutes, available for both English (11am on November 27 and December 18) and Spanish speakers (11am on November 28). Tickets cost three euros for adults and two euros for children.
- Childrens’ Gymkhana: free activity lasting around 90 minutes, at 11am on November 14 and December 12.

Oficina de Turismo de Alhama de Murcia
Alhama de Murcia Tourist information office is located on the edge of the Plaza de la Constitución, just a few metres away from the underground car park and the Town hall of Alhama de Murcia.
The tourist office offers free guided audiotours in English which take visitors around the historical sites of interest in Alhama. These be loaned at any time, although allow an hour and a half to complete the tour, and when loaning the audio equipment visitors are asked to leave passports or ID cards with the tourist office.
The office also carries a full range of leaflets for the archaeological museum of Los Baños, which is built around the historic spa which gives Alhama its name, and the mountains of Sierra Espuña, which is also an important area within the municipality of Alhama. Areas such as El Berro and Gebas have a number of interesting routes which can be followed and there are several picnic areas and good walking routes within the Sierra Espuña natural park.
The tourist office also carries leaflets for the many cultural events and fiestas which take place in Alhama throughout the year, including Los Mayos, Semana Santa, Christmas,the Romería of La Candelaria and the Auto de los Reyes Magos in El Berro.
