British hitman arrested in Spain with an arsenal of guns and ammo
The London-based assassin was collared while on the run in the Costa del Sol

A British man believed to be a professional assassin has been arrested on Spain’s Costa del Sol. The fugitive was found with an arsenal of weapons stashed inside his wrecked Nissan Qashqai.
Police tracked him down in Riviera, a residential area located between La Cala de Mijas and Marbella, following a bizarre chain of events that began with a confrontation at a petrol station.
Local sources say the suspect approached two Dutch women and began pestering them to buy him cocaine. Shortly after the incident, he crashed his car and attempted to escape the scene.
According to the same sources, he fled from the vehicle “with visible injuries” but was quickly apprehended by officers.
Inside the smashed car, police discovered a chilling haul. Seized items include two pistols, a silencer, multiple rounds of ammunition, a notebook listing names and addresses and a book titled ‘Practical Buddhism and the Search for Self’.
A spokesperson for Mijas police said: “A British man has been arrested in Riviera who had a warrant out for him ordering his remand in prison for murder.”
They explained: “While conducting surveillance work in La Cala de Mijas, officers were called yesterday to deal with an altercation at a petrol station in the area.
“Upon arrival, they interviewed a customer at the station who stated that a foreign man who had been harassing her had already driven away from the scene.
"Shortly afterwards, a call was received alerting us to an accident on Orfebres Street in Riviera.
“Upon arrival the officers found a damaged vehicle that matched the one involved in the incident at the petrol station.
"The driver attempted to flee when he saw police but was quickly intercepted by the officers.
"Once identified, they verified that he was a British man with a warrant for his arrest and remand in prison for murder.
“He was also carrying several firearms and a large amount of ammunition which were seized."
He has since been jailed and an investigation has been opened.
