Benidorm to open huge new Magic Pirates Island resort
The Costa Blanca themed resort will open its doors to visitors in the summer of 2025
Benidorm is famous for its themed bars and restaurants but next year the sunny Costa Blanca hotspot will open the doors to a brand new pirate-themed resort centrally located right next to the Terra Natura and Aqua Natura parks.
For this latest project, Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca are joining forces to create the unique ‘Magic Pirates Island’.
The companies are collaborating for the second time to build an unparalleled resort in Benidorm, following the success of Magic Natura Resort, which was named the best family resort in Spain by TripAdvisor.
The new project, set to open in summer 2025, will be constructed on a 32,000 square metre plot and feature around 270 themed cabins inspired by pirate lore. The cabins will be part of a larger thematic complex designed for families, complete with cutting-edge leisure technology and innovative design elements to create an immersive experience for guests.
This significant investment, split equally between Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca, will not only provide modern accommodations with top-notch amenities but also enhance the surrounding area with new pool spaces, recreational areas and dining options.
Grupo Fuertes and Magic Costa Blanca believe the development is “very positive news for the economy and tourism of the Costa Blanca” since the project is expected to create more than 200 jobs.
With its focus on creativity and innovation, this project also aims to deliver exceptional value to visitors and further solidify Benidorm’s reputation as a premier tourist destination.
