Children are being invited to discover more about one of Mojácar coast’s most recognisable birds during an environmental education workshop at Playa de Macenas on Saturday August 22.
The morning activity will focus on the Kentish plover, giving youngsters the chance to learn about the small coastal bird and why protecting its natural habitat is so important.
The workshop starts at 11am at Macenas Beach and is aimed specifically at children, making it a great option for families looking for an educational activity during the summer holidays.
