ARCHIVED - Alicante-Elche airport launches new flight route to Frankfurt, Germany
The airline Condor will run flights between the German city and the Costa Blanca three times a week
Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport has inaugurated a new route this Wednesday, August 3, to Frankfurt in Germany. This flight is offered with the airline Condor, and will fly three times a week.
Condor will fly between Alicante and Frankfurt on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays for the rest of the current summer season in Airbus 320 and 321 aircraft with capacity for 180 and 220 passengers respectively, as the airport explained in a statement.
“This new route reinforces the connectivity of Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández Airport with Germany and means an increase in the frequency of flights to Frankfurt,” the airport said.
They have also stated that passengers at Alicante airport “will now have more facilities to visit this important European commercial city of large skyscrapers, which combines an important cultural offer of operas, great shows and museums, as well as large green areas for walking and places full of nature on the banks of the river Main”.
