The 60,000-euro recharging stations in the Vega Baja town have been funded by Alicante Provincial Council
Four charging points for electric vehicles have been installed in Albatera to encourage the use of more sustainable modes of transport.
The statons are located in: Calle Compositor Manuel Berná García; Avenida del Calvario (sports area); Calle José Cánovas; and Libertad, and have been funded by Alicante Provincial Council.
To use the stations, you need to download a mobile application (details are at the charging point), which also indicates the locatopn of other recharging points.
"With these points we want to encourage and promote the use of the electric car and all the benefits it has for the environment. We are working to create a more sustainable municipality and continue to be committed to the environment," said the councillor.
"In addition, with this action, added to the renovation of most of the lights in our town, Albatera is becoming an increasingly sustainable town, and we aware that change and sustainable development is necessary for our planet and our health," added Pérez.
