ARCHIVED - 15,000-metre plot in Camposol up for grabs in State auction

Undisclosed bids have already been received for the Camposol plot and three others in the El Saladillo area

A plot of land with a surface area of 15,652 m2 has appeared in the Spanish state auction on April 26, with interested parties invited to submit “secret bids”.

This is one of four lots up for auction by secret bid in the El Saladillo district, but the other three are not within the Camposol residential development. It is an irregular shape and is located on Sector B inside a larger section of undeveloped land between Calle Tamariz and the Social Centre roundabout, as can be seen outlined in blue in the land registry (Catastro) plan, and the area includes land that was originally designated for various uses including parking, sports, a school and housing (although the planning permission for this has now probably lapsed).

The bidding process will last until 6pm on May 16 and only bids from registered users will be accepted, starting from a minimum of 100 euros. All four lots have been entered by an insolvency administrator and are already showing as “With Bid”, suggesting that bids have already been received.

Properties on Camposol have appeared in the state auction on various occasions in the past: a commercial unit on Sector A was sold recently, the Sensol Hotel was sold for 3.8 million euros in 2018 (but still remains closed) and there was the mass auction of the bankrupt developer Justo y Manoli SL assets in 2017/18, which included over 100 villas and plots of land.
